Hello, My name is Spencer and I am from the Fraser Valley here in British Columbia, Canada. I am currently a University of Victoria finishing up my final semester in the prestigious Peter B. Gustavson Business School program. To better understand me, you first must know what makes up the essential components of who I am. |
Accounting.
Ever since my first year of University I knew I wanted to obtain my CPA and move into accounting as a profession. I am beyond excited to begin my new career as an associate with PwC Canada this coming fall in their Fraser Valley office. It was a long road, but I was able to fit all required CPA prerequisites by combining my UVic courses with Thompson Rivers University and their accounting program. |
Soccer.
I recently completed my 5th year as a varsity athlete on the University of Victoria Men's Soccer Team. I have played the sport all my life, and it was capped off with a National Championship in 2011 with the Vikes. During my 5 years I was able to strengthen relationships and build bonds with my teammates that will last forever. I was also able to take a leadership role with the team, being a mentor for the next generation of varsity athletes. I currently play for the Victoria Highlanders FC during the offseason. |
Creativity.
I have always thought outside the box. Growing up I would go above and beyond expectations to bring new and innovative ideas to conventional ways. After receiving some business expertise through my course work, I have started a few side company projects. I currently run a social media company called Black Rhino Design Canada. I also have helped designed board games for LimitlessBoardGames, and designed the business model for CDM Sports. |
